It is nonsensical that people should admire their country blindly, ignoring or even denying its flaws

but praising it with uncritical sense. It is not patriotism, instead, a tragedy. Students and citizens should

have their critical thinking so that they can see their country in multi-dimensions. Only instilling positive

messages about the country into students' minds will lead to ideology, which makes the country decline.

This is because improvement comes from critics and failure. Blind admiration would contaminate students' minds.

For our country's and students' good, patriotism should not be taught in official curriculum of schools. Patriotism should be built by good governance.
