Back then she would never sit by the window at a café,
even though she was so much in love with the sun,
she found it hideous of being seen,
too precarious of being stared,
too frightened and awkward to make eye contacts with strangers;
it took her breath away in an utterly suffocated way.
And now, she has changed,
little by little.
She is different in the way she moves,
the way she talks, and
the way she sees things.
She still loves the sun and she always picks the seat by the window
She watches passerby,
listens to the lousy street,
counts pigeons as they flap thier wings and woo,
she loves to spend time on her own,
writing on a coffee table.
Maybe, she has become more gentle.
Her feelings intensify her thoughts,
her thoughts, nourish her soul.
Perhaps,
she is gathering up the fragments of herself
Or, has she found a way?
