化妝是一門藝術，我認為是沒有天份可言的！化妝講求的是觀察及分析能力，需要細微觀察臉部的優點與缺點，要仔細分析輪廓的特性。當我還在學習化妝階段的時候，我同時報讀了攝影及繪畫素描課程，為了就是要讓自己有更強的觀察、分析能力及熟練的手腕。

熟練的手腕當然需要好的工具配合，錯誤使用化妝用具，就猶如以筷子吃牛扒一般不得其法﹔正確的使用它便成了神來之筆。各種不同的化妝掃，都是為不同的臉部位置及化妝品的質料度身訂造，如大而柔軟的掃能把化妝品輕易的刷得均勻且薄，適合於刷碎粉或粉狀腮紅時用﹔而纖細的掃則能夠畫出細膩效果，適合於畫眼線或唇線時用。化妝掃的用料有很多，如貂鼠毛、山羊毛、松鼠毛及人造纖維等等，所以選擇化妝掃時，首決條件是要挑選優質的毛料，千萬不要讓妳的臉蛋受罪啊！

化妝掃的類型及質料有數十種的多，要入門級的去學會各類化妝掃的用途實在不容易，有興趣的話可向專櫃的化妝師詢問專業意見。下次於購買化妝品的時候，不妨也留意一下各類型的化妝掃，一定能令妳目不暇給。
