永久性脫毛
市面上有很多永久性脫毛服務，他們利用儀器破壞毛囊部位，令毛髮不能再生長出來，是一勞永逸但價格昂貴的方法。
短暫性脫毛
需定期處理長出來的毛髮，方法包括利用剃刀、眉鉗、傳統古法線臉及脫毛蠟等。
畢竟世上沒有太多十全十美的事，剃刀雖然使用方便而且沒有痛楚，可惜效果不持久，不到兩天的時間毛髮便會重新再生出來，看起來黑色一點點的,實在有礙觀贍，要效果持久的話，唯有用殘忍的方法，就是把毛髮連根拔起。
為了減輕痛楚的程度和預防出現敏感，脫毛前應首先在處理的部位上，用熱毛巾敷約5分鐘，讓毛孔受熱張開令痛楚大大減低，再利用眉鉗一根一根的順著毛髮生長方向而拔。若選用脫毛蠟的話，先取少量爽身粉塗抹該部位，以90度角順毛髮生長方向塗抹脫毛蠟，然後以逆毛生長方向快速拔起，將毛髮脫掉後，再以舒緩液緩和受刺激的皮膚。
