昨天看了一篇scarymommy的文章, 寫得真好
說的是孩子應該赤腳行走, 解放雙腳才是對腳丫最大的保護
摘了幾段放在日誌, 希望以後我都會記得

For babies and toddlers in particular, exploring the world with bare feet offers sensory stimulation, which helps develop various parts of the brain. Neurological pathways are built through new experiences. The feet are one of the most nerve-rich parts of the human body, and allowing kids to fully feel variations in texture and terrain on their feet helps them learn to be mindful of their surroundings, aids in balance and coordination, and builds neuromuscular strength.
So if our kids insist on playing caveman, let's let them. Encourage them, even. Feet can be washed - it's okay. We can help create those beautiful scenes of little ones padding around on their bare feet. Our children will appreciate it, so will their feet, and so will those of us who love to see kids in their natural, adorable state."
從小到大我們就是太受保護
害怕受傷害怕冒險
其實這才是真正害了小孩成長
我還記得第一次和嘉欣兩人在山東自由行出發前的恐懼
父母早年常提醒我在內地各種恐佈的事件一件一件浮現在眼前
綁架, 偷器官, 強奸......
後來經過四年的大學冒險
漸漸明白到, 他們就是過於憂慮
哪哪都有不安全, 重要的是我們自己要有安全意識
這個世界, 好人還是比壞人多
多冒險多歷練, 世界在心中才不會這麼恐怖
因為... 無知才是最恐佈的

今早看了另一篇叫"When You Want Your Daughter To Be An Astrophysicist, But She Wants To Be A Princess"的文章
裏面談到孩子gender-specific interests and identities的問題
一般來說stereotypes係女孩喜歡玩公主遊戲, 喜歡粉色的東西
男孩喜歡車, 球, 扮hero等
這個只是生物上的影響嗎?
還是我們一直受的引導也是這樣的
長期下來就沒有覺得有什麼問題
比如父母在嬰孩時期讓小孩穿的衣服, 有沒有一早就選定偏girly 或者是偏男孩的
給他們買的玩具又會不會只是barbie或者各種玩具車
只因為他們的gender
我認為這個引導這方面也不能忽視
如果從小我就讓孩子男裝女裝都穿
男孩女孩的玩具都買
各類的書都讓他/她看
他/她看這個世界又會不會不一樣呢?
沒有那麼stereotype
跳出那個圏圏
可能就會覺得女孩做一個政治家或者英雄也沒有什麼驚奇了吧
當然我不是一個 provacative 的feminist
現在覺得很多詞上加上"女"字很奇怪
女政治家, 女英雄, 女商人...
好像太刻意了
其實男女都一樣
沒有必要因為mankind有man就要特意改成personkind
這本來就是大家應該共同擁有的世界, 思想上改變比形式上改變來得重要
形式上特意去改反到有點覺得稀奇古怪.
願我們的下一代都有一個正常的世界 |
