Issac Newton was a famous saientist. He studied physics, mathematics and astronomy. He was best known for his discovery of gravity. It was believed that Newton was sitting under an apple tree when an apple fell on his head. This made him aware that there was a force pulling the apple to the ground. This force is called gravity.
Another important discovery mabe by Newton was the nature of light. One bright sunny day, Newton put a prism in sunlight. He found that different coloured lights were produced after the sunlight passed through the prism. He concluded that sunlight was made up of different coloured light. |
