Book I: Psalm 6
Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity, for Yahweh has heard the voice of my weeping. (8) 你们一切作孽的人,离开我吧!因为耶和华听了我哀哭的声音。(8)
Learn from the prayer of David: He cried for the Lord, urged him for deliverance from distress, and thanked the Lord for had listened to his prayer and his heavenly will would be done. Therefore he was in distress before, but not anymore for he had cried out to the Lord and firmly believed that he had heard his prayer. Yahweh has heard my supplication. Yahweh accepts my prayer. (9) How heavy was David's burden and yet how light was it! Because the Lord was with him, and he helped his child when he was in need. David asked those workers of iniquity to depart from him, for Yahweh had heard all his weeping. How faithful was David to declare this! We can learn a lot and see God through his prayer. I know he listens to my prayers too. Thus I shall pray to him always and thank him for listening to them more often because David told us that he had and indeed he blessed him. Return, Yahweh. Deliver my soul, and save me for your loving kindness’ sake. (4) My Lord, deliver my soul, and save me for your kindness sake. Reveal to me your will so that I can do according to it. Guide me, Lord, show mercy on me, for in death there is no memory of you. In Sheol, who shall give you thanks? (5) Shall I study abroad? When? Don't abandon me, Yahweh, don’t rebuke me in your anger, neither discipline me in your wrath. (1) for I am faint. My bones are troubled. Deliver me, Yahweh, like you delivered David. You bless those who delights is in your law and meditates day and night. (2) May I walk in your way always.
