Book I: Psalm 12
And the words of the Lord are flawless, like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times. (6) 耶和华的言语是纯净的言语,如同银子在泥炉中炼过七次。(6)
And I'm reading your words. How delightful I have been! Reading the words of the Lord, with a quiet spirit. Fall silent before him, and the Lord shall speak. In David's time there were no wicked anymore. People deceived each other, their lips were flattering. (2) They despised the Lord and said, "We will triumph with our tongues; we own our lips--- who is our master?" (4) But the Lord was there. He always was. And the Lord would arise because he saw the oppression of the weak and the groaning of the needy, and he was the one who protected them. (Arise, O Lord, may your will be done on the earth!) And the Lord would keep his people save and protect them from the wicked forever (7), even though the wicked freely strut about when what is vile is honored among men. (8) And as the Lord had said so, and his words are flawless like silver refined in a furnace of clay, purified seven times, he had save and protect then, he will save and protect nowadays. Now do you believe? I do. He is our rock and fortress!
