Luk 24:1-12 The Resurrection
The women were terribly frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, but the men said to them, “Why do you look for the living among the dead? (5) Seeking in the wrong place. Nearly all are doing that these days. But as I walked astray Jesus found me. He hugged me and loved me in my time most needed. I need You, my Lord. Shouted I to You daily, but it was me who grew tired of all this first. Ironic. Father, I'm sorry. I know I'm not looking for the living among the dead. With Your almighty You resurrected, and risen like You had once said. Stop looking for the truth in all the wrong places. Rest and He shall lead you to feel and experience. Do help me Lord.
But Peter got up and ran to the tomb. He bent down and saw only the strips of linen cloth; then he went home, wondering what had happened. (12) How I longed to be like Peter, to be closed to the Lord Jesus, to care about Him more than himself. I wish I had his heart. Give me his heart, Lord, a heart that loves You, that treasure You. A heart that brings me back to Your arms.
