Luk 24:36-49 Jesus Makes a Final Appearance, Jesus' Final Commission
Then he said to them, “Why are you frightened, and why do doubts arise in your hearts?Look at my hands and my feet; it’s me! Touch me and see; a ghost does not have flesh and bones like you see I have.” (38-39) While the eleven trembled with disbelief, Jesus didn't rebuke them, instead He kindly showed them His hands and feet. He was the loving God, and He still is. I sinned again last night. I didn't know why I did that, but it was like the other bad habits that could almost lead to an addiction. I hate this when I looked at myself. Now I wonder what Jesus will react while I sin against Him on the condition that I can fully control myself. I must have made Him angry. And sad. Furious while seeing the sins in my heart, but it is His love for me that breaks His heart. While I come to think of this, I felt extremely tired of myself. I know I want to end this. But how?
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the scriptures, (45) And look, I am sending you what my Father promised. But stay in the city until you have been clothed with power from on high.” (49) I got the Holy Spirit in my heart. He must have been worried about me since last night. I'm sorry Lord. I called you my Lord but I didn't do what servants do. I sinned, I went to bed early, I turned You down, and I felt ashamed. Please will You forgive me? This will be the last time I do THIS. Lord, you treated me so good that I will pray to You again no matter how hard I felt these days about prayers. I'm an awful sinner, but You clean me up. Now my clothes are white as snow in Your blood, and I can stand up again and serve You. Thank you for rising for me, Lord Jesus; and thank you for worrying about me, Spirit.
