Luk 24:50-53 Jesus's Departure

Now during the blessing he departed and was taken up into heaven. (51) It was fortunate to have seen God face to face. He took the most humble form of human and victoriously finished the mission He was being sent for. After all that He must go back to heaven, and before the departure He blessed the ones He loved. Upon his disappearance, the apostles worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy, (52) They had made the right choice to have followed the right one, and He filled their hearts with joy. They were continually in the temple courts blessing God. (53) Makes me want to share their joys too. I have read about Your works, and I want to get closer to You. Teach me more about prayers, dear Spirit, so when one day I see Him face to face in my new form He'll recognize me and I'll recognize Him. Amen.
