Jas 2:14-26 Faith and Deeds

Show me your faith without deeds, and I will show you my faith by what I do. You believe that there's one God. Good! Even the demons believe that - and shudder. (18-19) Deeds indeed. Of course I will do that. What good is it to me if I don't bring glory to the One who loves me by what I do? Why will I need the glory? Who am I anyway? A sinner. Prisoner that awaits execution. Of course I will have deeds to my Redeemer. He is the one worthy of all my praise. Bless the Lord, amen!

You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone. (24) ) Learn from those in the Bible who did things to glorify God. Faith without deeds is dead. I see now Lord Jesus teach me how to act according to Your will because I don't know and I won't know. While I walk to the celestial city I need You to bless my way. Cause I only know the wicked way but with Your guidance I become righteous in Your eyes. Have mercy on me, Lord, look into my heart and strength my faith. I know You'll be with me the whole time and You still love me.
