Book II: Psm 46

Be still, and know that I am God. (10)

There's only one thing the children of God should remember, that he is God. What is God? God is our refuge and strength. (1) God is an ever-present help in trouble. (1) God has a city, in which the streams of the river makes him glad. (4) God is the Most High. (4) God dwells in the hole place. (4) God is within the city. (5) God will help the city at break of day. (5) God lifts his voice when the nations are in uproar and kingdoms fall, and he melts the earth. (6) The Lord Almighty is with us; God is our fortress. (7) The Lord brought on earth the desolations. (8) The Lord makes wars cease to the end of the earth. (9) The Lord breaks the bow and shatters the spear. (9) The Lord burns the shields with fire. (9) Be still, and know that he is God. (10) God will be exalted among the nations. (10) God will be exalted in the earth. (10) We're not afraid because he is God. We know that he's with us, and he's our fortress.
