Book I: Psalm 7
Let the Lord judge the peoples. Judge me, O Lord, according to my righteousness, according to my integrity, O Most High. (8) 耶和华向众民施行审判;耶和华啊,求你按我的公憍M我心中的纯正判断我。(8)
I never imagined we could say something like this to the Lord. To ask him to judge us according to our righteous. Aren't we wicked in our hearts and wouldn't do good even though Jesus hated our sins and died for them? But we're still wicked. The Bible says that when we believe we can be considered righteous in God's eye. That was why David said something bold like this: judge me, Lord, according to my righteousness. And my integrity. Now this is very hard to follow for me but when I read the words brought comfort to my heart. I had always tried my best to do what pleased the eye of my Lord. What he saw as wicked I did not dare to do. And he blessed me in every way. Last night I couldn't sleep again and I cried out again and I felt so sad. I felt frustrated and I called out to the Lord, and then I didn't want to call out to him anymore. For what is faith? I told myself if I had called out once, called out twice, called out the third time, then left the rest to my faith in heart because when you put something in his hands you let go of it. I didn't sleep right away, but still I slept. It was like a battle, and every night I was exhausted. O Lord, judge me according to my righteousness and my integrity. Search my mind and heart and make the righteous secure and bring to an end the violence of the wicked. (9) My shield is God Most High, who saves the upright in heart. (10) I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the Lord Most High. (17) Good night my Lord.
