Book I: Psalm 14
There they are, overwhelmed with dread, for God is present in the company of the righteous. You evildoers frustrate the plans of the poor, but the Lord is their refuge. (5-6) 他们在那里大大地害怕，因为神在义人的族类中。你们叫困苦人的谋算变为羞辱；然而耶和华是他的避难所。(5-6)
More AIESEC activities. None of them were of the best quality, but I liked them. Those people were confident brats, not knowing the Lord, but very energetic, fun-loving and had a great sense of acceptance. They allocated human resources, make good use of them, and that was different from the church upholding love. Upholding love is upholding God, for God is Love. When in AIESEC I was in a surrounding of acceptance with the capable, the selected; we gained acceptance as we proved ourselves. Whereas in the church I was in a surrounding of acceptance with the weak, the poor; the incapable, as they were loved by God.
You didn't need to prove yourself for anything because God knew pretty well about you already. And those around you they loved you because God loved you instead of because how lovely you were. That was the best part, and people seldom noticed. They couldn't understand as the society brought the value of the world to them and they were trapped by those values. But in God everything would be possible and you could be weak could be worst could be useless could be poor could be fragile could be sad could be discouraged and that only proved the abundance in God. But people on earth someday would be in dread for the Lord was their refuge and even though they had been in shame, they could lift their heads up because of God.
For those who looked down on me, I would rejoice in the Lord as he understands my sorrows; for those who were jealous of my accomplishments, I would rejoice in the Lord as he had allowed great things noticeable happening to me so that people might be jealous about them. But you didn't need to be jealous, for God blessed those who loved his words and had an intimate relationship with him, that was what you could also achieve if only you lift up your head from all the riches on the earth and look into the throne in heaven.
So you see what's so special about the heavenly rules: starting with temporary power, ending with temporary power; starting with everlasting love, ending with everlasting love. May your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. (Luk 11:2) Amen.
