Book I: Psalm 28
The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in him, and I am helped. My heart leaps for joy and I will give thanks to him in song. (7) 耶和华是我的力量,是我的盾牌;我心里倚靠他就得韺U。所以我心中欢乐,我必用诗歌颂赞他。(7)
This is the psalm of David when he asked for something from the Lord. He praised. He begged the Lord to listen to his cry for mercy (2), and begged the Lord to tear down the wicked. (5) Then he praised. Praise be to the Lord, for he has heard my cry for mercy. (6) The Lord is the strength, fortress of salvation, his people's shepherd. (8-9) David must be blessed, as he always have reasons to praise. But in his distress he praised and the Lord listened. This is the best relationship!
Teach me how to praise, Lord, then my heart will leap for joy even in my fear, my darkness and my troubles and distress.
