Book I: Psalm 31

Love the Lord, all his saints! The Lord preserves the faithful, but the proud he pays back in full. Be strong and take heart, all you who hope in the Lord. (23-24) 耶和华的圣民哪，你们都要爱他！耶和华保护诚实人，足足报应行事骄傲的人。凡仰望耶和华的人，你们都要壮胆，坚固你们的心！(23-24)

I know I shouldn't starve myself as I've promised so, but what am I to do? My hand hurts. I cannot focus on more than one task, and now my stomach hurts. David told me to be strong, but how? As "yet you heard my cry for mercy when I called to you for help." (22) If you're here, stay with me. Wash this shame off me as I rely on myself. But how can I be faithful? You are hope and the word and the road and truth and love and life itself. I know it all well. And then I called out to you. I feel ashamed. I want to hide from you. Now where can I go?

Sorry for the ranting. You're still the Lord. You're still good. Be strong and take heart, yes, and keep hoping in the Lord.
