My mum said that she would never let me buy novels which have a picture that is in comic style as the front cover. She said that some stories were not suitable for me. Unless it is in non-comic style, she might buy.

Not fair, right? You don't buy some types of books just base on the cover? Gidden's (九把刀)'Killer series', also get some plots that are not good for me too, but it is non-comic style in cover! So that means I can buy it but others're not? You are totally writing off the book in comic-style!

Choosing a book is not only base on its cover. You have to choose it from its story line and its liberary talent as foundations. You choose book because of its cover? HA,STOP KIDDING ME!

If I really buy some books wrong, fine, I can just throw it into the deepest part of my bookshelf and read it on my 18th birthday. So what? BUYING WRONG BOOKS ARE ALSO LEARNING LESSONS. We can get the experience of determine which books are okay for us. But now, she completely stop me from reading wrong books, but also good ones.  Today, over 90% of the Chinese books I read are in comic-style. She was simply stopping me from reading books.

Actually, about the Japanese books, which as I mentioned that my mum forbided me to read, no matter liberary talent or story line, or the illustrations, are all much better than the books from Taiwan or Hong Kong. Although the standard of judgement of morals may be not the same as the one of Hong Kong, but their distance are not really so long. Just a little stepping out of line are not needed to consider much.

The best way to choose book, of course not only include MORALS!
