大家在報紙上，也可能看到關於男拔游泳比賽的新聞。道聽途說，先前我們學校的泳隊選情告急，那位蕭姓的泳隊隊長在初賽被取消資格。聽聞是他跳進池裏之後超過了15秒才把身子伸出來，以致資格被取消。結果，學校落後整整十幾分！
眼見其他學校乘勝追擊，一向是大贏家的學校又豈能莫塵莫及？在那天的Assembly，有兩位泳隊的senior boys上台說話。有幾個笑位，那個senior說，某校（好像是另一間跟男拔爭得很激烈的名校，哪家名校當然呼之欲出啦！）的一位同學，要求連續重讀中六，就是為了勝過我們學校，笑死！
那個senior氣宇軒昂地說︰「有人話我地抵死，串足15年！但係我想問下佢地，我地有資格串足15年，你地得唔得？」
禮堂突然一片沉寂，此時有個人大叫︰「得！」全場立時哄堂大笑。

昨天星期五，Inter-school游泳比賽開始了。我班的Class Captain是泳隊，所以缺席了課堂跑去比賽。終於有驚無險地，學校以一分之微擊敗聖若瑟。想必在Day 1的Assembly，泳隊的人們一定又在上台說話了。
升上中二格外忙碌，星期2開始我的Spanish Class，費用全免的啊！都要多得那個 old boy 善心的慷慨解囊，我們才能有此福份！
接着有些時候又要練習朗誦。這年我不知癡左邊條線，竟然跟Jason報了二人朗誦。我從來未試過二人朗誦，Jason亦然，所以有點驚恐。
