| Pros & Cons of my weekend with Blade & Soul |
分類: 未分類 |
| Pros:
Game looks great. Loved the character options and visuals across the board.
Ran surprisingly very very well even with other games in the background/etc.
Core combat is actually really fun.
PvP is fun/unique, starting from very early on.
Huge amount of character customization, both visually and skill tree/gear selection.
Equipment/Soul Shield system is unique and seems well thought out.
PvE Group content seems pretty fun, coordinating combos is neat.
Cons:
Leveling/Story is very linear. While you're not given massive amounts of generic quests, the progression through the story/zones is the same for every class/character you create.
Relatively limited number of classes.. though I'm not sure if that's actually a major downside, with how complex most of them felt to actually play as and/or against.
Gathering/Crafting system seems pretty weird/hands off. Honestly the system may not be bad, but it's probably not going to suck people in as much as some MMOs.
Definitely seems intended to be a side item, not a primary focus.
Roles in PvE content are very loosely defined. If Blade-Soul wants cleanly defined trinity classes or a classic 'raiding' experience, you won't find it here.
