| My (FPS) performance issues fixed |

| My monitor's native resolution is 1440p. I run my desktop at 720p (or use windows UI scaling at 200%) because everything is obviously small as hell on a 27" at 1440p. 720p is a direct multiple of 1440p so things are more or less crisp (re: text) despite being lower res.
BnS absolutely insists on running at 720p unless I actually set my desktop res at 1440p (which means everything is small as hell when I tab out mid-game, and the hassle of changing my resolution every time I start the game). After I alt-enter I can change the in-game resolution to anything and nothing will change at all.
The most asinine part about this (aside from BnS not supporting fullscreen in general, despite 99% of PC games operating in fullscreen since before MS-DOS) is that I can't even use windows UI scaling -- in that mode, my desktop is 1440p but the windows UI treats itself as 720p and scales itself up with Blade And Soul Gold. The scaling carries over to most applications except some that simply don't (MPC-HC's buttons for example are still tiny). But nope, BnS still runs at glorious chunky 720p, so that's not even a solution. The game insists on behaving as a windowed non-exclusive application no matter what. Very obnoxious.
I don't know about "age". Personally things like this shock me when you consider that gaming has always traditionally been in fullscreen mode. It blows my mind that a game can be released with windowed and borderless but no actual fullscreen.
Random digression: I'm running in 1440p native on a 27", so my desktop is at quarter res (720p). BnS absolutely insists on running at 720p no matter what I do. Very cringe-worthy for something released this millennium, if not ever.
If you have in windows higher resolution than in game you need to set same low in windows, otherwise there will be zero incerease. I have notebook 15,6" with default 1980x1020 (idk why the fck is this lenovo default) set in BnS 1366x768 and got +0fps incerease, after setting 1366x768 in windows also Ive got about +10fps.
