|Blade & Soul - Huge Instanced Maps
|There are mainly huge instanced maps, that in some places has a few seconds pause to go through doors (for example going into a minidungeon), but for the most part the huge instanced areas are really big so you don't go through loading screens very often while leveling. (Instance isn't really the right word with the help of Cheap Blade And Soul Gold, here, like the guy above me mentioned 'zone', seems more appropriate term)
Unless you're deliberately going back and forth exiting and entering a large town that has it's own map and loading screens, you don't see a lot of loading screens.
Leaving a mini-explorable dungeon area has a loading screen, but going into it just has the couple second pause loading thing (at least in my experience).
I guess it's just that it is instanced, but the instances are so big [and often filled with players (unless in a personal quest or explorable dungeon)], that you just don't notice that it's instanced, too much
It's not a game that has one town with personal maps where you fight monsters alone with Blade & Soul Gold. It's more like: huge world filled with other players that sometimes go through loading screens to get to next huge map (and the mini-dungeon type areas you can go alone).
Best comparison like the others said that it's like gw2 or wildstar?, which is kind of the opposite of vindictus or dragon nest style maps

|Stuck/Rubberbanding in Blade & Soul
|It takes more than warriors to make the world work. The Earthen Realm is filled with countless merchants, master crafters, and skilled artisans honing their work to perfection. Many have rallied together to form enormous guilds which reach every corner of the Realm, selling their wares and offering their services to the world... for the right price.
Contracts and Reputation
In a modern era of convenience, a warrior is no longer responsible for crafting their own equipment—it’s a practice better left to the professionals! Those looking to make use of the guilds simply need to speak with a Guild Representative, found commonly in major towns, to request a contract with the Blade & Soul Items. It’s possible to establish contracts with a maximum of two Gathering Guilds and two Crafting Guilds at a time. Specific Crafting Guilds use materials collected by specific Gathering Guilds, so it’s important that one does the necessary research to know which connections they want to make. While one can freely end contracts and start new ones at any time, one will lose their established reputation with the guild and need to start from scratch if they want to rejoin later!
Once a contract is established, a warrior can order various goods and services from a guild. After placing an order and paying a nominal fee, one must simply wait a while before the order is fulfilled for them. It’s best to place an order before adventuring, allowing the guilds to work in the meantime. All those wonderful items will be waiting when you return after a long day of righting wrongs and fighting monsters
In order to make the finest goods, first one must gather the finest materials. Widely dubbed as Gathering Guilds, there are a handful of groups who travel far and wide digging up only the best components upon request. They are the lifeblood of the industry; without them, the Crafting Guilds would be lost. As one works with the Gathering Guilds, they will gain a reputation as being a reliable customer and thus gain access to rare materials over time.
The Gathering Guilds each specialize in sampling specific facets of nature. “The Stonecutters” gather earth and stone, while “The Prospector’s Union” specializes in rare ores and raw gems. “The Tree Fellers” and “Herbside Service” are in touch with the forest, gathering fine wood and healthy medicinal plants respectively. Since everyone needs to eat, it’s up to the “Green Thumbs” guild to farm crops, “The Trapper’s Alliance” to hunt choice prey, and the “Fish Network” to haul up the bounties of the sea.
The resources of nature may be great, but it takes a skilled artisan to really make use of those materials. Enter the Crafting Guilds, a number of influential guilds who ultimately supply the Realm and control the economy. Unsurprisingly, many of them can be found in dangerous regions, which means you may need Blade & Soul Power leveling, often helping out alongside warriors in any way they can. Reputation matters here as well: the more work one does with the Crafting Guilds, the higher quality goods they can produce.
“The Radiant Ring” and “The Forgekeepers” craft stunning works of art that are both beautiful and functional, empowering warriors with fabulous accessories and mighty weapons. While those two protect the body, the “Earthseers” and the “Soul Wardens” guard the spirit – their specialty being charms, talismans, and Soul Shields. When it comes to potent potables, look no further than the “Silver Cauldron” for health-bolstering tonics and potions, while the “Acquired Taste” guild will fill any warrior’s belly with fine cuisine. “The Merry Potters” may seem like the odd-man out with their focus on crafting fine ceramics, but the goods they make are used by all the other guilds, making a strong relationship with them a very wise decision for those looking to play the market.
|Stuck/Rubberbanding in Blade & Soul Blade & Soul: impossible
|You have a masters pack and couldn't get your blight weapon?
wait. unless... did you use your brilliant viridian key on another weapon box with the help of Blade & Soul Items? Masters pack owners get a class specific key for the 1-20 area. this key should ONLY and i repeat ONLY be used on the blight chest. any weapon you need before this is tradeable and therefor should not need a special key.
Sorry OP but you f'ed up
now for anyone without that special key
grind it out. you don't lose too much just doing the dungeon and you aren't very hindered by skipping it for a while. I leveled to 36 without getting my blight weapon and then I leveled to 45 without getting my flame weapon. the weapons are strong enough to carry you. you can't avoid the RNG even at cap with all the money in the world. If you are grinding for end game bopae(soul shields), there are 8 pieces with random chances to drop and even if you get it, there's RNG on whether you'll get the highest stat roll or not.
it's korean. the more you play, the more you are rewarded.
I've honestly never the seen the option to buy brilliant keys for valor stones, unless I'm just completely blind I don't think you can get cheap Blade & Soul Power leveling. You are probably talking about a private server, on official ones the only way to get brilliant keys is from the cash shop, survey, or rare drop from the reward chests for quests/dungeons.
|Blade & Soul Taiwan Translation Patch
|I was able to do the manual dat file, and the game works with that. What i can't seem to get right is the game patcher. It never sees the dat file when i do the setup. My game directory is the same as yours Cowgirl and it never sees anything in that folder. The odd thing is when i open the folder by myself ( without the patcher) i see the dat file just fine.
Either way i'm grateful for the translation with Blade And Soul Gold, just wish i understood the instructions better, cuzz i seem to be missing something in step one. =/
BTW This is the part that is killing me:
"3. Setting up
1. Run the BladeAndSoulTWLauncher program from the folder you downloaded. On first run, you will be asked to browse to the Replace.bat from EnglishPatch or EnglishPatch_ProjectIzanamiOnly. If you didn't do this step, BladeAndSoulTWLauncher will not check for updates and just show its main interface."
If anyone could explain how to do this step that would be great because i'm totally lost right here. I run the launcher and i browse to: C:\Program Files (x86)\NCTaiwan\Blade & Soul\contents\Local\NCTAIWAN\CHINESET\data but i keep finding nothing in my folder. obviously i'm doing something wrong.
Ok i got it and just in case there are others like me. here is what i did. Once you are at the google drive download be sure you download "EnglishPatch.2015.6.9.zip" and if you want the auto updater download " BladeAndSoulTWLauncherUpdate.0.0.0.8.exe "
make a new folder (i put mine on desktop) name it whatever ya want ( mine is izanami ) unzip the two files you just downloaded to get Cheap Blade And Soul Gold. Next run the blade and soul patcher that you just extracted, it will ask for you to "Brows to the Replace.bat" so go the the folder you just made and find the "Replace" file. That is the one you want. now just run the patcher and your done.
