It's snowing..... in mid-April... we are expected to get ~6-8 inches tonite

4-6 (Fri)

Went to this italian restaurant for dinner,   and ordered fried calamari and pasta (sorry no pics, was too hungry at that point).

4/7 (Sat)

Went to a Mini Cooper Club Drive in the morning, then in afternoon went to my friend's place in Milwaukee.

He just shaved his Persian cat... and then we went out for dinner in a Vietnamese restaurant... Yuuummmmmm..

4/8 (Sun)

Nothing special, went to church in the morning and played Wii in the afternoon... THEN STARTED WORKING on THE seminar again.... work work work.....

4/9 (Mon)

Worked like crazy on my seminar, the file is so HUGE that my computer kept crashing on me .

4/10 (TUE)

Seminar @ 11, I invited my committee members to come and the majority of them were able to make it.

I worded something stupidly in my powerpoint and got picked by one of the members... oops, was embarrassed ... it was a phrasing error which I didn't catch this morning when I was double checking, I guess that's fine,  most of my committee members said I did good

and now... back to the mode of doing experiments, got some new insight after the seminar, finish them then I CAN GRADUATE... let's hope  

Yay, boss's gone for the rest of the week  and I can work on my seminar while she's gone.

My seminar is postponed until next Tue because one of my prof was sick, so now I have time to do a few more experiment for the seminar, hopefully it will all go well.

It has been very chilly here lately, today we got those sub-zero temps again  . I was wearing short sleeves (and still sweated like crazy) 2 weeks ago, but now it is back to the cold temperature.

Easter is coming, I guess you all have holidays for easter; but we don't, because my school is a state school and not a religious school.

Anyways.. Happy Easter to you all.

Bab has been trying to get ready for the seminar this weekend, and this morning I found out that the things that I planned to say does not make any sense to myself ! So right now I am undergoing a big panic and try to make up something that makes sense for tomorrow's seminar. I've already sent out the invitations to my committee members and ask them to come over for my seminar (which makes me even more panicky now). Trying to whip through papers and books to make up my new points for my seminar. Look at my pile of  paper/slide box crap on my desk!

So today I went to pick up the document that allows me to extend the period of time to stay here to finish my degree, and they had my name wrong; they had my chinese name as my middle name, which obviously is not true, and it wasn't a big deal, they just have to redo the doc. But then the receptionist was trying to argue with me that that was the way my old documents were written and the way they had it was correct. I was like "No those are my first names" and she didn't trust me! And then she dug out my old documents to show those are my first name instead of middle name.. then she was like, " yea you are right..." OF course I am right, that's my name!!

Do not argue with me about my VERY OWN NAME!! If I say it is a first name, it IS a first name! Crazy bitch

 And now I have to make another trip to go over there to pick it up, so annoying. (They only open from 10-4!)
