Today is another day going back to school, nothing really special. Athough the summer holiday is not over, I just found myself being too lazy throughout the summer. The only and important I did is being a personal tutor. Sometimes I reckon the parents in Hong Kong are 'Tiger Parents'. For example, one of my students has tutorial lesson five days a week. First of all, I am sure that his parents are crazy. After a marathonic study time at school, it is exhausting for the kids to attend tutorial lessons. Secondly, I think they are overly worried about their kids academic results. The examination result of the kid is unsatisfactory, and his parents believe that his decent qualification is the only way to succeed. However, I think he had done his very best already. Don't give so much pressure to kids. Let him explore and find his own interest. This would be a much better education method for kids. I hope many Hong Kong parents understand this.
