Book I: Psalm 25
Show me your ways, O Lord, teach me your paths; guide me in your truth and teach me, for you are God my Savior, and my hope is in you all day long. (4-5) 耶和华啊,求你将你的道指示我,将你的路教训我!求你以你的真理引导我,教训我,因为你是救我的神。我终日等候你。(4-5)
My heart rejoices every timethe spirit speaks to me. He wisely instructs me what is good in the eye of God, and I love his voice. Praise the Lord! May he be exalted in his strength! I will sing and praise his might. (21:13) Praise the Lord Almighty, the King of Glory, my God, who speaks to his servant and I listen. Today you whispered your answer to my inquiry in darkness, and I thought it over and over. Now I know you are God with great mercy and love, because you have your good will in my insomnia. Thank you for telling me to seize your words when I am in darkness, and I will praise and give thanks until drowsiness set in. I bet David knew the same, for he remarked Good and upright is the Lord; therefore he instructs sinners in his ways. (8) He instructed me. Who, then, is the man that fears the Lord? He will instruct him in the way chosen for him. He will spend his days in prosperity, and his descendants will inherit the land. (12-13) I still need you guidance like any righteous man who fears you. Do not abandon me, O Lord, I know you won't. Instruct me!
