Dear President of the College:
I have been informed that our college is considering ways to improve student commuting to campus; either build a multi-level parking garage on campus, or offer student free bus and subway passes as part of their tuition package. I think that offering students free bus and subways passes would be better to benefit the college community as a whole.
Building a mutli-level parking garage on campus is very expensive, and the maintaining fund is costly, too. Also, there are many people who don't have cars, so the parking garage would be unimportant for them. On the other hand, offering students free bus and supway passes seems a better way to benefit the college because the bus and the subway fee would be part of the students' tuition package. As a result, the maintaining cost would be more cheaper. If our college offered that, it would be a benefit for students and the college.
