An Ideal Parent
Many people said that it is hard to be a good parent. Actually, how hard to be a good parent and what is an ideal parent? In my opinion, there are three requirements of an ideal parent are necessary.
An ideal parent should give his children supports. For instance, parents should provide their children financial support. My cousin was a high school student. He wanted to buy a computer, but his parents did not buy it, so he went to do a part-time job after school. He did the job just two months, but his scores were regressed seriously. It noticed that parents should give their children support.
The second requirement is parent should be a teacher. For example, an ideal parent have to teach his children to know what is right and wrong, and he should punish his children when they do something wrong. On the other hand, he should reward his children when they do something well. Otherwise, children will lose their sense of justice.
The last requirement is parent should treat his children like a friend. Uncompromising posture will let children scare you and leave away from you. My mother’s friend has a son. She rarely talked to her son. She never tried to understand him. He always went to my home because he did not like his home. My mother noticed that and then she attempted to preach her friend to become a friend with her son. Half year later, she and her son are like as friends. Her son is happier than he used to be. An ideal parent should treat his children like a friend.
Therefore, to be an ideal parent is not very hard. These three requirements are only a standard of an ideal parent.
