今次要講下語調:

D人經常話抑揚頓挫

首先要知到幾個原則:

廣東話係聲調語言,所以偏離一個聲就會變左第二個字同意思香港人就係受到呢個原因所影響令英文(非聲調語言)既發音好似講廣東話咁

例子:

唔同既重音會顯示出唔同既意思

1.Ms.Chan is a 'English teacher.

2.Ms.Chan is a 'English 'teacher.

第一個係解陳小姐是一個英語老師。

第二個係解陳小姐是一個英國的老師。

所以重音放係唔同既地方就會影響該句子的意思

1.降調:用於Definite Statements,Commands,Exclamations and

[Statement questions.(i.e. question requiring answer other then yes or no.)]

2.升調:用於Qustion requiring the answer yes or no, or request

3.先降後升:用於:Non-final sence groups or continuation,Old information or referring back and Hesitation

4.停頓:breaking up the stream of speech into tone units helps a listeners in two ways

用於:the language is handed out in small parcels which can be interpreted one at time,the grouping of words within a message into longer or shorter sections helps the listener to understand the message as a whole.
