Jesse McCartney, Bowling For Soup, The Cheetah Girls, Aly & AJ and Everlife to Perform at Radio Disney's 10th Birthday Concert

BURBANK, Calif., April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- In celebration of its 10th birthday, Radio Disney will present a star-studded concert on Saturday, July 22, 2006 (starting at 7:00 p.m.) at the Arrowhead Pond of Anaheim in Anaheim, California. This Radio Disney Totally 10 Birthday Concert will feature hot artists including Jesse McCartney, Bowling For Soup, The Cheetah Girls, Aly & AJ and Everlife! Tickets will be available starting on Saturday, May 6, 2006 at noon through Ticketmaster at ticketmaster.com and through Radio Disney at RadioDisney.com. Kids and families are welcome to this "all ages" celebration.

Jesse McCartney's full-length solo album, Beautiful Soul, was released in September 2004, and features four songs co-written by McCartney. The title song reached number 15 in the U.S.; number one in Australia, Taiwan and the Philippines; number 16 in the UK; and number one on the Radio Disney Top 30 Countdown. The video for "Beautiful Soul" was voted into the Top 10 fifty times on MTV's TRL and peaked at number four. The album went platinum status in February 2005 and the Beautiful Soul Tour stopped in 56 U.S. cities. The success of Beautiful Soul garnered Jesse a 2005 American Music Award nomination for "Best New Artist." He also won Radio Disney Music Awards in 2005 for "Best Male Singer"; "Best Karaoke Song" ("Beautiful Soul"); and "Best Song to Put on Repeat" ("Get Your Shine On"). In 2006, Jesse will release a new album and appear in a few films.
