Went for my wedding photoshoot. It was a tiring day, a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Please don't make me go through it again during the whatsoever anniversary.
Reached the studio at 9am, and spent almost an hour on make-up and hairstyling. Had a shock of my life when I looked into the mirror after that (I removed my specs so I wasn't sure what exactly was being done to my face and hair). Hair was curly (seriously, I don't really like curly hair), and the make-up was so thick that for a second or two, I couldn't even recognize myself. I certainly prefer a more natural look.
WQ had to put on this funny Chinese traditional costume (I bet he will forbid me to put his photo up, so I shall not do it). Ok, I think I look equally weird in mine.
It was raining. So you can imagine how messy was the outdoor photoshoot. Luckily I didn't have to pay extra for the wedding gown's laundry. It was drenched in dirty rain water basically. We went to botanic garden and esplanade, both are places we frequent during the earlier days of our relationship when we had little money. Haha. Walking up the slopes in botanic garden in high heels and long wedding gown was no joke. So tired that I fell asleep in the photographer's van.
I hope the photos turn out well.
If you ask for my frank comments on whitelink, I think the service and everything are satisfactory (not excellent though). If you want something grand, then perhaps it isn't a suitable one. The gowns for phototaking and photography backdrops are quite old, but you see, nonody will notice these in the photos. They boost about their great variety in costumes, which I didn't really get to see when I went down for my first fitting. I am quite satisfied with the ones I picked at the end, so I am not complaining (haha, you know, I'm not very fussy when it comes to clothes).
Will be viewing the photos next Friday. Hope things turn out well.
