Was the JC 1's consultation day yesterday and it was total madness. Had been giving consultations from morning 8am till evening 5.30pm, with one half an hour break in between. Was so exhausted during the last consultation that I felt like fainting. Looking on the bright side, at least I have so many hardworking students. There are ones who didn't come for consultation, but were studying on their own in school and at home. Way to go kids!
I remember myself going for consultations very often last time. When my smtp student came to check for alternative solutions, ask for more past year papers and point out the mistakes in the given solutions, I knew it was just retribution. There are other motivated guys who completed the whole revision package (I wonder what are my girls doing...). So when I saw their work, I knew I must stay behind to answer their questions. I cannot guarantee them excellent grades, so the minimum I can provide them is my attention and encouragement.
They should install air-con at the first and second floor consultation areas. I got myself tanned from sitting in the heat the whole day. And preferably cater some lunch for the teachers. Many stalls in the canteen were not opened. (but it was heartwarming when guys brought chicken essence and chocolate bars for me when they came for consult.)
