Point guard Bimbo Coles enjoyed a 14year career as one of the best NBA players from Virginia Tech. In four collegiate seasons, Coles totaled 2,484 points to become the Hokies' alltime leading scorer. He was drafted by the Heat in 1990 and spent significant time as a starting point guard with the team. He averaged 9.1 points and 4.4 assists in six seasons with the Heat until he was traded to the Warriors air max yellow black. Coles spent most of the remainder of his career as a backup point guard. After posting huge numbers with the Hokies including 23.1 points and 12.7 rebounds per game, Bristow was drafted by the Sixers in 1973. He struggled to make a significant impact early on and after just two seasons, he jumped to the ABA as a member of the San Antonio Spurs. One year later, as the Spurs transitioned to the NBA, Bristow broke out with averages of 11.4 points, 4.2 rebounds, and 2.9 assists per game. His best overall season came in 197980 with the Utah Jazz as he averaged 11.6 points, 6.2 rebounds, and 4.2 assists. Bristow scored 5,122 points in the NBA and became head coach of the Hornets in 1991 where he coached former Hokie Dell Curry nike air max shoes.
