Wake up! Be a hard-working student

     Nowadays there are more and more newly emigrated-students from mainland China to Hong Kong . It also has some research showing that the newly emigrated students are more hard-working than those students who born in Hong Kong . There are some reasons to prove this phenomenon.

     Firstly, some newly emigrated students may think that it is difficult for them to come to Hong Kong , or leave a poor place. In order to value and treasure this opportunity and thanks to their parents who work hard to give a chance to them, they need to be more and more hard-working to be a successful person.

    Secondly, in the same class, the age of the newly emigrated usually is older than the students who are born in Hong Kong , so they may be more mature than the others occasionally. Actually, they know that study and playing are two separated items. From now, they are students, so they may think that study is the most important thing. For other things they may spend less and less time to do.

     Thirdly, recent computer games are becoming more and more popular in Hong Kong . There are great deals of local students who spend their precious time to play computer games rather than study. So, their study results are getting worse and worse.

     Fourthly, the local students may have a wrong intellection that the newly emigrated students are absolutely poorer than them, so they may think that there is no reason for them to study hard when compared with the newly emigrated students.

     Although the newly emigrated students are usually lack of good study environment, poor in English, what they have is hard-working. They just have a faith that hard-working can change their lives.

     In order to solve the problem of the local students being less hard-working than the newly emigrated ones, I think teachers, parents and the computer games’ creators need to pay attention to this phenomenon and take actions to stop it.

     Because the students may think the computer games are more interesting than the lessons, they enjoy playing computer games rather than study. Nowadays, Hong Kong is an international technology (I.T.) city; it does not like the past. The traditional teaching methods may not be suitable for students now, so teachers should provide some interesting teaching methods to attract students, it may balance the hard-work between the local students and the newly emigrated students.

     For the parents, they need to have more communications with their children. That can let the parents know more what their children need. From the communications, they can improve the relationship. When the communications are improved, children spend on playing computer games’ time will be decreased. Moreover, if parents and their children have a good relationship, I think children may be interested to get communication with parents rather than playing lots of computer games on their own.

     Last but not least, although the computer game creators’ need to earn money for operation their business, I think they also need to face on the effects of the students who play too much computer games. To balance the game creators’ and the students’ benefits, I think the game creators may inject some educational tasks or knowledge in the games. Despite the fact that the students spend more and more time on playing games, it also can be a study way.

     In conclusion, improving the local students’ attitude of study, keeping our competitiveness and being stronger, teachers, parents and the computer game creators should pay attention to the students. They should find ways to keep them hard-working. At last, I hope that not only the newly emigrated students are hard-working, but also our local students and all of us have good relationship. Let’s increase our economic competitiveness together.

試,考完了;可事,卻仍然殘留.這是究竟?人生就是這樣反覆無常麼?還是,是這個社會的特質呢?一個又一個的問號徘徊在腦海裡,總教我百思不得其解.「人生得意須盡歡,莫使金樽空對月」,一個理想的人生觀,但是否能做到呢?又是一個問號.

　　倒霉 ── 人最不希望踫到的事情。但，要來的，終歸要來；無論怎樣，也躲不開，也擋不過。在面對倒霉的日子，人能怎樣呢？坐以待斃，還是積極面對？安於天命，還是拼命反抗呢？對我來說，要面對的，始終要面對；逃避問題還不如勇於面對。因為我深信，凡事總有兩面，眼前是壞也不等於背後也是壞。唯一能感受壞的反面，就只有以積極的心態去面對眼前所遇上的事情。

　　就在今天，倒霉又來找我了。倒霉，你無聊嗎？為何你會來找我呢？今天接二連三的踫上你，可真與你結下不解之緣。但可惜的是，我根本不想踫到你！
