101年農曆03月23日籃筐會活動：
正式活動為04月12日下午18時至04月13日24時止，地點為河華路及巨輪路段。

所謂籮筐會，就是傳統趕集活動的延伸，從前農業社會因為取得物資不便，
所以會在固定時間，在農忙閒暇之餘將自家的農產品或自己生產的東西帶去市集。
因為以前的農業社會沒有什麼運輸工具，都用把自己的東西用籮筐裝起來，
用扁擔挑到市集去賣或是彼此以物易物，然後市集上就看到很多人挑著籮筐來來往往，
就是籮筐會的由來。
籮筐會已經有兩百多年的歷史了，歷經清朝、日據、至民國，
每年舉辦三次，且每次分別有特殊的意義，
都是農業社會裡的重大節日：
農曆三月廿二、廿三日－媽祖誕辰
農曆八月十三、十四日－中秋節前夕
農曆九月十四、十五日－義民節
早期籮筐會是採取以物易物的方式進行買賣，且物品多為竹製品為主，
如竹椅、竹梯、竹籠、竹筐、扁擔、竹畚箕等。
所以仔細逛籮筐會會發現，有些攤子會賣藤條、農具之類的東西，
就是當初保留下來的。
不過今日因時代變遷，籮筐會隻有少數一些人販賣舊式物品的攤位，
大多已改變為現代化產品的商品展覽場。
在市集中，可以看到、吃到許多不同的東西，
稀奇古怪、五花八門。從鐵器、竹飾品、青草藥、到現代的百貨、食品小吃，應有盡有。
並且，目前這項流傳兩百餘年的活動，台灣僅存岡山的籮筐會。
第一天大約下午開始有攤位，不收攤一直延續到第二天，
基本上第二天隻到晚上十二點，
十二點一到，大部份的攤子就會開始收拾了，通常這時候就會開始跳樓大拍賣！
建議路線：
台一線經橋頭到岡山
如果從高雄市出發，沿民族路一直騎，
經過楠梓→橋頭→岡山，
出楠梓地下道後，就沿那條最大的路直直騎，
到岡山→經過火車站就快到了，
還是直直騎→河華路左轉就是了！就在岡山農工旁邊。
