Rummaging around a second hand book shop with a half price sale on i found a A3 sized book
called "British Warships The royal navy" published by the illustrated london news, it looked old
so I bought it, at 15 pounds it seemed a bargain to me to add to my collection.

An boy was it worth it, it gives me a list of every single warship in the royal navy during the
second world war from the Battle ships to the trawlers. Not only this but it does not state when
it was published and all the pictures are in sepia, so I did some investigating by reading the text.

Reading about the HOOD it does not mention it being sunk, this seemed to indicate to me that
it was written before the 1941 battle where the hood was sunk. Further proof to this was the
Exeter. It says that german propanda attempted of course, to make out that "Exeter" had
been lost; bout on February 15 she steamed into Plymouth, to recieve a triumphant welcome.
Which due to the lack of printing the yer indicates to me that it was written in that same year.
Exeter fought graf spee in Deceber 1939 so I concluded that the book must have been written
in 1940.

Further backed up by the mntion of the building of the then incomplete Dido class cruisers. The
latest date i could find is August, so I think it was written in the last few months of 1940.

I have taken high definition photos of every page and put them on my computer, I then made
them inb to a zip folder and put them on to the web so people can download it and enjoy the
book as much as me.

(真係覺得好睇...感覺上d野好靚)
反而3系o個個就好似冇咩主題咁...唔知想show咩咁(可能我睇唔出la)
