Air Supply的誕生源自英國人Graham Russell及澳洲人Russell Hitchcock 1975年於墨爾本的一次偶遇，當時兩人參與音樂劇Jesus Christ Super Star角色選拔，一見如故，自始展開在音樂上的無間合作。1976年他們正式組成Air Supply，由Graham創作曲詞，Russell主唱。

Graham對愛情的巧妙詮釋化成優美簡潔的旋律，令人百聽不厭；而Russell則以其純淨細膩的高亢歌聲為歌曲注入靈魂。這個完美組合出道短短一年就以一曲Lost in Love震撼全球，隨後繼續在流行樂壇締造連串的輝煌歷史。
