I learnt you have problem with your notebook from Auntie 2. You mentioned that it is still working but you see nothing on the display. How do you know that it works if you can't see anything ? Is it very dark but you can still see something on the screen or it is completely dark just like it is power off. Tell me more about that if you can access the Internet.

In the meantime, you may try to find out if there is any switch (hard or soft) in the notebook that can adjust the contrast ratio of the notebook display. Sometimes, it could be that the switch is somehow mis-adjusted and causes the problem you have. I recall that a guarantee certificate comes with the notebook. Is it in HK or Australia? You have to find it out to check whether the notebook is within the guarantee period.
