 Being the youngest member at 15 to join mcfly he is said to be unique and

shows a different side to himself when on stage. His band member Tom

describes Dougie as “one of the most quirky people I’ve ever met.”

Nicknamed “Lizard King” at school because of his side line in lizard breading,

he used to live with his mum, Sam, younger sister Jazzie, two lizards,

 two cats, two dogs (he claims he would like to be a dog), a hamster and

 a frog.

Tom Delonge has been a definitive roll model for Dougie who have shared

 a flat together with his animals, porn collection and clothes.

He currently co-writes a lot of the new songs and even wrote and sung a

whole song (Silence is a Scary Sound, and “Diarrhoea”)
