Lace Front Wig Buying Instructions
Now that you’ve decided to buy a lace front wig, lets talk about the application. The wonderful thing about full lace wigs is that you can apply them yourself and achieve a flawless look just as you would if you went to the salon.
First things first, Preparation!
-Gather your application products such as cheap Weft Hair Extensions and line then up for easy access. Prepare your hair by wrapping, pin curling or braiding your own hair.
-Clip back all the baby hairs on your unit to avoid cutting them by mistake. By applying fray block (optional) this will prevent your unit from fraying and also extend the life of your unit.

Application:
Try a Q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol to remove any excess adhesive, especially in the fron hairlinet, -AT
When using tapes, wet fingers to avoid the glue sticking to your fingers – makes things a lot easier. -JJ
Use a fine point or wooden stick (toothpick) to attach your lace to the adhesive. -KH
My stylist also tacks my lace wig for extra security. -ZM
I find when I fit my lace, tie my hair in a scarf and sleep on it, it sets really well by the morning. -JK
Try using a teeny amount of gel on your natural hair to smooth back your stray hairs. -K.C.
If you use a protective wig cap, make sure its not too tight – this may cause headaches and or neck ache. -JC
Using old tights that match your skin tone, make your own wig cap - this will protect your natural hair and match your scalp colour. -AT
