但是，當這些狗詢問它們的朋友時，沒有一只狗在被診斷出患有糖尿病時表現出典型的症狀，有些狗的症狀似乎與糖尿病無關。

餐前饑餓

在糖尿病的早期階段，一些患者可能會經曆餐前低血糖和饑餓。

這主要原因是因為企業由於使用胰島素分泌延遲、與血糖的變化發展不同步，導致餐後血糖水平達到一個高峰時，胰島素還沒來得及大量分泌;

當胰島素分泌達到高峰時，正好出現在下一餐之前，導致低血糖和饑餓感。除上述症狀外，如性欲減退、性功能障礙、四肢麻木、針刺等都是糖尿病的早期症狀。

如果你或你身邊的人有類似症狀，不要起疑心。可以選擇測血糖來確認自己是不是糖尿病。

但如果血糖比常人高，但還未達到提高診斷技術標准問題的話，則是糖耐量減低。這類人群具有一定時間不能小覷病情。

因為這些人中有一半會在10年後患上糖尿病。
