The Air Jordan 7 “Nothing But Net” also known as the Jordan 7 Sweater is an all-new colorway of the Air Jordan 7 that will be included in this year’s Jordan Brand 2015 Holiday Retro Lineup. The shoe is meant to symbolize the “trendy” sweater that Jordan wore for a McDonalds ad commercial that also featured legend, Larry Bird. The commercial itself was pretty dope, the sweater though, that’s another story. Following suit, or in this case “sweater”, the Air Jordan 7 comes in a white upper that is seen donning a large amount of colorful hues. Colors include Bright Concord, Soar Blue and a shade of gold and red. Black laces tie the shoe up, while the midsole peaks come in black and red. The outsole is just as bright as the accents on the upper, coming with every single color that Jordan wore in his sweater. Jordan For Girls, A red Jumpman is seen on the ankle collar, while Concord and Red hits make up the Jordan branding on the tongue. Completing the look of the shoe is the ’23’ hit on the heel that happens to lie parallel to the red heel tab.
Air Jordan 7 Nothing But Net, The busy patterns of the shoe are pulled directly from an original Air Jordan 7 apparel combo, one that Michael Jordan himself wore during his trip to Barcelona in 1992 and during the classic Showdown commercial with Larry Bird (relive both moments via the videos below). The shoe is one of the more graphic Air Jordan 7s to ever release, although the tongue here is stripped of the standard polygonal look for a straight black. This “Nothing But Net” edition of the Air Jordan 7 draws inspiration from a classic outfit worn by Michael Jordan during an original McDonalds commercial for the Air Jordan 7 in 1992 – that also starred Larry Bird and highlighted one of Michael Jordan’s shots as “Nothing But Net.” Dressed in a mixture of White, University Red, Black, and Bright Concord color scheme. The shoe features a White leather base with an energizing unique graphic print throughout, finished with Black, Red and Concord accents.
