| Newest Jordans 2016, Embrace some old school Jordan heritage with the new City Pack. The Men's Air Jordan Retro 10 NYC Basketball Shoes celebrate the great city of NYC and some of MJs achievements during his playing time. From the ground up, this shoe is a testament to somebody who many considered the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time). The sole of this J actually lists one of Jordan's accomplishments for each year he was in the NBA. The midsole is a lightweight Phylon sole that allows the wearer to really fly. The elastic band lacing system works with a heel pull tab and padded collar for easy on and off access so you can suit up for the game faster. The J’s feature a black leather upper with gold branding hits toward the heel and on the outsole. Additional gold detailing can be seen on the heel tab and speckled sole unit, while tonal laces accompany to complete the release.
Ahead of OVO Fest this weekend, Drake has officially unveiled the Cheap Jordans 2016. Created in collaboration with Jordan Brand, the sneakers feature a white and metallic gold colorway with a clear gum sole featuring gold flecks and the OVO and Jordan Brand logos. They come packaged in a crisp white box adorned with gold logos. Nike's Air Jordan Retro 10 comes styled with a full-grain leather upper and wave overlays to either side, sitting atop a Phylon midsole featuring a full-length Air-Sole unit that supplies a lightweight cushioning. The shoe's multi-coloured rubber outsole showcases Michael Jordan's ground-breaking career, proving exactly why he's an icon of the hoops. This sneaker was the first one to wear by Michaele Jackson after his first retirement, when he tried himself in baseball. There are a few milestones of his career listed on a shoe, with related years on the outsole. The original Air Jordan X is the second sneaker in the Air Jordan series, which was released while Michael was pursuing his baseball career. However his return in 1995 was celebrated by Jordan X "Chicago" colorway.
Just like the Air Jordans 2016, we can thank Tinker Hatfield for this shoe. He not only designed it, but he designed it believing MJ would never set foot in the NBA again. Not only did that affect the makeup of the shoe — the outsole plays like an ode to Mike, with all of his accomplishments — it also helped spawn the vaunted City Series. Without Mike around to actually wear the sneaker in the NBA, Nike released colorways for Miami/Chicago, Sacramento, New York, Seattle, Orlando, and even North Carolina. The white/black/red edition that Jordan would later wear in his return to the NBA, and what would eventually become the "Chicago" edition, actually started as a player exclusive for Harold Miner, one of the first "next Jordans." Scottie Pippen eventually wore it for the Bulls.
