| New Jordans 2017,The internet will go nuts. Stephon Marbury is gearing up to bring back his Starbury sneakers. Once on sale for $15 at the now-closed Steve and Barrys stores, the former basketball star’s kicks were at a tenth of what Michael Jordan's coveted shoes go for today. Taking to Twitter, Marbury slammed Jordan for the violence that has ensued over his highly sought after kicks. Calling the six-time champion "greedy," the former New York Knick retweeted fans and offered his own commentary. Noting the struggles some parents may face to cop Jordans for their children, and the fact that the masses have gotten “caught up in the greatness” of the heralded NBA player, Marbury vowed that "the time would change."The 1989 Spike Lee joint Do The Right Thing features one of the most memorable sneaker moments in film history. If you're not familar, Buggin' Out, the film's politically-minded Brooklyn native, experiences the ultimate sneakerhead nightmare when a man scuffs his brand new Air Jordans. And when the movie came out, the Air Jordan IV "Cements" were the hottest shoe in the country.

The 2017 Air Jordan Shoes were designed by Don C, a Chicago native and designer from the South Side who also collaborated with Nike on the first Just Don shoe in 2015.The latest Jordan sneaker package comes in a red box that holds the cream-colored leather Just Don shoe, decorated with red tags inside the heel—one that reads “Just Don” and one labeled with “23,” Jordan’s number on the Chicago Bulls–plus a red leather baseball cap and a gold Air Jordan pin. The package and a matching leather jacket (not included in the package) were shown in the display box at the Jordan shop. The Just Don tag was attached to the shoelaces.And while they've been retro-ed as recently as 2012, the highly-coveted kicks haven't been on sale since in their original, Nike Air logo glory—until now.
