| The New Jordans 2017 is a premium edition of the Air Jordan 12 silhouette that will be debuting as part of the Jordan Brand Holiday 2016 lineup.This shoe was again something totally new when it came to design. The way the ribbed leather seemed to go all the way to down to the ground due to the match in color with the midsoles, really made people turn their heads. This unique design was partly inspired by the flag of the Japanese Army & Navy in which the red circle is surrounded by a “sunset”.The Air Jordan 12 (XII)‘s were also one of the most durable AJ’s to date. It seemed almost nothing could break these shoes down. One major disadvantage was that they pretty easily got dirty and was hard to clean. Especially the ones with white midsoles/soles.The Air Jordan 12 originally released in 1996-97. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the sneaker is inspired by the Japanese flag Nisshoki as well as a 19th Century women's dress boot. The sneaker features Zoom Air as well as carbon fiber.According to @_PO2345, the Air Jordan 12 OVO will not be releasing in 2016. Instead, the release has been postponed until early 2017.
The 2017 Air Jordan Shoes was released in 1996/1997. In the 96/97 season Jordan saw himself being bounced off the MVP throne by Karl Malone, who won the honor with the slimmest margin one can think off. Jordan got his revenge in the finals though, and led the Bulls past Malone’s Utah Jazz and also picked up the Finals MVP honors for the fifth time (out of five tries!).Jordan Brand and Drake are teaming up again to release the ‘White/Gold’ Air Jordan 12 OVO this Summer 2016. First previewed in 2014, this high top basketball shoe comes with white premium leather uppers, hints of stingray leather accentuated with a smooth bumpy texture, gold detailing and the OVO logo on a translucent sole. Following the release of his new album Views, Drake’s OVO Fest is also in the works. If you plan on getting your hands on a pair of these new OVO’s don’t expect it to be easy. Sporting a simple white and black colorway, this KD 9 For Sale features contrasting vibrant gold accents at four eyelets and both the lateral and medial sides. The white panels are made of a fine tumbled leather, but it’s the rest of the black upper that makes this a collector’s item. After being wiped, agitated and rubbed on over time, the black upper reveals a gold-colored feather graphic as a nod to Jordan’s “wings.” Forgive us however, as we weren’t ready to distress this pair, but if you look closely at slide three you’ll notice tiny gold specs around the stitching. Rounding out this model is an identical black-and-gold feathered insole graphic, the “Wings” image on the heel with a heel tab that reads “with a little help, anyone can fly,” and a white-and-gold dust bag, all in Jordan Brand’s signature black-and-gold box.Quantities for the AJ XII “Wings” will be limited to 12,000 pairs, priced at $225 USD each. The sneaker will be available for purchase beginning this Saturday, April 2, between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. EST on Nike’s The Draw app.
