The Air Jordans 2016 Retro will have a major role this Spring 2017 season as yet another new colorway emerges exclusively for girls. Dubbed the "Pantone" for its resemblance to the PE that Jordan created, this Air Jordan 6 Retro release makes use of a lighter shade of blue on the upper with a solid white midsole and opaque white hits. The Jordan "Heiress" Collection will extend into 2017 with two new releases – the Air Jordan 1 and the Air Jordan 6. Both feature a combination of suede and shiny leather uppers as well as white midsoles and icy outoles. The pair takes an interesting Anthracite/Black approach to the iconic 1991 retro's upper, while alternating panels have 3M reflective qualities for a head-turning look. The white/light silver/true red look also ties to the Air Jordan 7 "Hare" edition that Jordan wore in 1992, indicating that designer Tinker Hatfield decided to use it after all. New Air Jordan Shoes, This latest variation of the Air Jordan 6 is an extension of Jordan Brand's "Alternate" collection. Somewhat of a hybrid maroon variation as well, the sneaker pays homage to the Chicago Bulls' color scheme with white, pure platinum and gym red accents covering its entire upper. This iteration is also the pair that MJ would've donned during the 1991 Playoffs, as the year "1991" is evidenced on the tongues. Finally, translucent outsoles finish off the design. Jordans 2017 continues to tell the story of Michael Jordan's legendary career by re-imagining his iconic models all over again. The Air Jordan 6 is the focus this time, and it's getting a Hare Jordan styled makeover. The infamous Air Jordan 7 colorway is flipped for this model and it translates really well over the course of the sneaker’s upper. Off-white nubuck panels are balanced against rich white leather and the subtle balance is carried over to the outsole as well. Maroon accents finish the look off, and if you check the inside the tongue, the year 1991 is sewn in for good measure. Using White perforations across the leather overlays and Pure Platinum on the panels. In addition we have Gym Red used on the liner, lace lock and tongue. Other details include "1991" on the inside of the tongue and a translucent outsole.
