New Jordans 2017 has unveiled their Air Jordan Retro Summer 2017 lineup, which celebrates two essential elements of the brand's DNA: the iconic University Blue color and premium craftsmanship. Originally showcased during the 2010 World Basketball Festival, the Air Jordan 7 in University Blue returns for first time in 2017. Dressed in a University Blue, White and Black color scheme. This Air Jordan 7 features a full Blue-based upper that includes White Jumpman branding throughout. Minor Black detailing and a solid White sole completes the release. Since his game-winning shot that brought championship glory to the University of North Carolina, Michael Jordan has been at the forefront of basketball greatness. Paying homage to Jordan's alma mater, three of the season's silhouettes feature the iconic University Blue color – a staple palette in the brand's heritage and DNA.
Jordans 2017 is set to release another premium version of the Air Jordan 5. The Air Jordan 5 Premium Pure Platinum is part of the Air Jordan Retro Summer 2017 Collection. This Air Jordan 5 has a similar build. Known as the Air Jordan 5 Premium Pure Platinum, this version of the Jordan 5 opts for a luxe appearance as it comes dressed in an all-White premium leather upper. Adding to the luxury feel of the shoe is the decision to remove the customary TPU netting on the side panels and replace it with woven leather accents. Additional features on the shoe include a premium leather tongue, leather inner lining, gold lace tips and gold Jumpman logo on the insoles and outsoles, embossed Jumpman branding on both the tongue and heel, a triangular leather lace lock that reads "Flight" in Gold, a matching white midsole unit and a milky translucent outsole caps off the design altogether. Each silhouette in this series of retro releases strikes a balance of on-court heritage and off-court style for the season.
New Jordans 2016, The Air Jordan 11 Low UNC was originally released back in 2001 dubbed, "Columbia Blue." As part of the Air Jordan Retro Summer 2017 Collection, Paying homage to Michael Jordan’s alma mater, this Air Jordan 11 Low comes dressed in a University Blue and White color scheme. The defining University Blue color is featured prominently on the patent leather upper, while a White midsole and translucent outsole ground the clean design. And The Air Jordan 11 Low Barons will be a brand new low-top Air Jordan 11 debuting this Spring 2017. Dressed in a Birmingham Barons-style having a Black, Metallic Silver and White color scheme. This Air Jordan 11 Low features a Black suede upper with matching Black leather heels. An iridescent patent leather overlays the mudguard, while sitting atop a White midsole. Metallic Silver branding and a milky translucent outsole completes the look.
