Jordans 2017 introduced the first post-retirement Kobe Bryant signature shoe, the Nike Kobe A.D. As far as our understanding goes, the Kobe A.D. is set to be the next main signature shoe for Kobe. In other words, this could also be known as the Nike Kobe 12. Kobe and Los Angeles go hand-in-hand and the Mexican culture is deeply embedded. With Dia de los Muertos as the theme, Nike adequately celebrated Kobe's career as they officially unveiled the Kobe A.D. in a gallery space in Los Angeles. Technically, fans can also dub these as the Kobe 12s but it is now confirmed, the Kobe A.D. is the official name for the shoe. It turns out Kobe Bryant is not only an amazing basketball player, but also a hell of a salesman. After watching him unbox the Nike Kobe A.D. with Jacques Slade, I'm pretty excited to go check out his new shoes in person. Rarely do we ever see an athlete outside of commercials discussing their signature sneakers in such a candid manner.
New Jordans 2016, Bryant's next sneaker with the Swoosh will feature a white and chrome makeup, giving the shoe a clean and appealing look. Dressed in a white engineered mesh upper with hits of chrome on the Swoosh logo and heel, the shoe also features a varsity red colorway on the upper portion of the heel where the Kobe Bryant signature is located.
