New Jordans 2018 is apparently bringing back the Air Jordan 12 "Taxi" for the 2017 holiday season. Originally released in November 1996, this simple black and white version was the first colorway seen on the 12th edition. The design has seen retro releases throughout the year, with a low-top rendition eventually making its way onto shelves in 2004. As reported by Sneaker Files, the newest release will uphold the original sneaker's silhouette, with white tumbled leather along the upper and black pebbled leather on the mudguard. Arguably one of the most popular colorways on Jordan's 12th signature model, the Air Jordan 12 Taxi is the latest release rumored to be a part of Jordan Brand's 2017 Holiday lineup.

This would make the third time the Air Jordan 12 released in OG form. Recalling the iconic color scheme of White, Black, Taxi and Varsity Red. The classic Air Jordan 12 features a White leather upper with Black textured overlays, inner liner, heel and outsole. Speaking of the outsole, it features a Black and Yellow pattern on its carbon fiber reminiscent of NYC taxi cabs. Red accents can be found on the Jumpman branding on its heel and toe, while having Gold upper eyelets for a nice luxurious touch.
