Reverberation of The Pearl Harbor
Stunning views,vivid acrobatics,romantic trigonometric relationships,abiding friendship,undulatory plot,good-looking actors,these all can be found in this perfect film,The Pearl Harbor.
The Pearl Harbor,was released in 2001.And I regreted that I have not watched it before,but I do now.The vibration still here though time flow.This film is about 4 hours long,but it’s really more worth than those countable value.This film is electrifying because of reality of cruel battle;This film is popular because of good acting from many appealing actors;This film is heart-stirring because of the indescribable romances.
For Rafe McCawley,who act by ben Affleck.If you watch the film clearly,you may find that his acting is a little bit clumsy,but it shows the character of Rafe,slow-witted,this character is quite challenging for actors.Although Rafe is a kind of people like this,he is strong and attentive to Evelyn.He is my favourite character in this film since he is totally aspiring-he dreamed to be pilot when he was young,and he did it,in a more magnificent way.His devotion to his country is more than to his girlfriend.He is obviously a hero.It’s a pity that he is not the one in the history.
For Danny Walker,who act by handsome Josh Hartnett.I think Evelyn (as well as audiences)was attracted by him because of his glamorous eyes.He is timid,but energetic on the planes.Rafe is a great interference point on his whole life.Rafe and him is the best partner of pilots to fight the enemies.They set the goal together,and purse after it togther.He lived because of Rafe,and died for him so.
For Evelyn Johnson,who act by Kate Beckinsale.Her face is bewitching,so two men were fascinated by it.Rafe and Danny bring her gratification,excitement,lament,surprise,disappointment and felicity.There should not be two men in a woman’s heart,and so does she.I like a sentence which she said,’My favour did not ask that what I want.’It materialized in the end of the story-one man left.(Why you gave one night to Danny,but not to Rafe......)
Also, I remember some touching scenes impressively.
The first one is in the rush ward, many injured were being sent to there after the raid from Japanese. A doctor order Evelyn’You goes out and divide people into two groups, one is can be healed, one is……’in that moment I saw those words, I was shocked because war is really ferocious. This film shows the terror of wars, and tells us that wars are not being allowed to the world.
The second one is the death of Danny. He wanted to shot the Japanese who were fighting with Rafe,but unfortunately Danny’s plane ram to the ground.Then Rafe went to see his best friend.
Rafe'Danny,You can't die!You can't die!Do you know why?It's because you have to be a father.You have to be Dad,I cannot possibly tell you.You are going to be a father.Please....'
Danny'No,you are......'
Rafe'Danny?please...please...'
I feel quite sorrowful notwithstanding I knew the ending,it’s still worth my tears.In the converation between Rafe and Danny,I felt the bottomless friendship of them.
The third one is the last ending.Rafe,Evelyn,and ‘their’ son Little Danny went to visit the grave of Danny.It seems that Evelyn finally is ‘belongs’ to Rafe,but I saw her love is devoted to Danny.Also,Rafe brought Little Danny flying on a plane,it’s so unforgettable as I can saw Rafe and Danny were flying together with their pleasant face.
At last,I just want to apperciate this brilliant film,and no more words is needed to explain how great it is.
