你豈不曾知道麼、你豈不曾聽見麼、
永在的神耶和華、創造地極的主、
並不疲乏、也不困倦，他的智慧無法測度。
疲乏的、他賜能力、軟弱的、他加力量。
就是少年人也要疲乏困倦、強壯的也必全然跌倒。
但那等候耶和華的、必從新得力、
他們必如鷹展翅上騰、他們奔跑卻不困倦、行走卻不疲乏。
Have you no knowledge of it? has it not come to your ears?
The eternal God, the Lord, the Maker of the ends of the earth,
is never feeble or tired; there is no searching out of his wisdom.
He gives power to the feeble, increasing the strength of him who has no force.
Even the young men will become feeble and tired,
and the best of them will come to the end of his strength;
But those who are waiting for the Lord will have new strength;
they will get wings like eagles: running, they will not be tired,
and walking, they will have no weariness. (Isaiah 40:28-31)
